- Mama Shops (from Tamil ????, meaning uncle or elder) are convenience stores in Singapore that are located under high-rise apartment blocks built by the Housing and Development Board (HDB). Traditionally, they are owned and operated by Indians.

Papa-Mama Shop
A typical 'toko kelontong' or general home appliance store. Notice the store's name using the old Bahasa spelling "Usaha Djaya" which literary means "Great Business". This store is near Simpang Sri Ratu.
